香港近年持續吸納大量非永久性居民，當中不少為國際學生及交流生。根據 GovHK，政府於 2019 年發出了 11,188 個學生簽證。然而，初來到香港的學生往往因語言隔閡、不熟悉當地制度，以及缺乏本地支援，在日常生活中面對不少困難。現有的數碼平台大多以旅遊或娛樂為主，未能回應他們在定居及融入城市生活方面的實際需要。為了對症下藥，項目首先建立了一個 Persona，了解新來港學生在衣、食、住、行以及社交層面的痛點。
Hong Kong is facing an influx of non-permanent residents, particularly international and exchange students. According to GovHK, 11,188 student visas were issued in 2019. Newly arrived students often struggle to navigate daily life due to language barriers, unfamiliar systems, and limited access to local support. Existing digital platforms primarily focus on tourism or entertainment, leaving a gap in solutions that support real-life settlement and integration. To adopt a problem-driven approach, the project first established a persona to examine the pain points experienced by newcomers in Hong Kong across clothing, food, housing, transportation, and social domains.

最終的解決方案「belong」，是一個資訊豐富、強調群體互助的數碼平台，協助外來人士適應環境，讓他們能像本地人一樣生活。平台的願景是建構一個跨國互助網絡，現階段則優先服務香港的用家。
The final solution, “belong”, is an informative, community-based digital platform that helps foreigners adapt and live like locals, with a vision of building an international mutual-assistance network and an initial focus on serving users in Hong Kong.
「Belong」有幾項核心功能，包括提供實用生活資訊的導賞團和部落格、減輕語言障礙的自訂語言工具，以及促進社群連結的會員活動。
“belong” features several core functions, including tours and blogs to provide practical daily life information; customizable language tools to alleviate language barriers; and member events to foster community connections.

「belong」為導遊提供專業培訓，以確保高品質的導賞團體驗。當地居民可以申請成為導遊，參加者亦能為活動體驗留下評分及意見。
“belong” trains tour guides to deliver high-quality tours. Local residents can apply to host tours, while participants can leave ratings and comments for guided experiences.
職員及其他會員會發佈部落格，分享在香港生活的見解及重要資訊。這些文章也有助宣傳平台上的導賞團。
Staff and other members publish blogs to provide insights and essential information about living in Hong Kong. These articles also serve to promote tours on the platform.
平台透過與大學建立合作關係招募新會員，並定期舉辦會員活動，促進本地及新來港年輕人之間的交流，提升群體的凝聚力。
New members are recruited through partnerships with universities. Regular member events are initiated to deepen stronger engagement and reinforce community cohesion among young locals and new arrivals.
